Dorothea Reule, Wissenschaftliche Assistentin für Semitistik at the Universität Heidelberg, joins BeInf as a short-term research fellow for 17 to 28 August.

June 25 & 26, 2026. Sophia Dege-Müller and Jonas Karlsson give a lecture on "Continuity and Innovation in the Ethiopic Tradition of the Psalms" during the international workshop "The Material Traditions of the Psalms" in Hamburg.

BeInf PI Aaron Butts will be a visitor at the Institute for Advanced Study (IAS) in Princeton over 20-30 May. He is associated with the School of Historical Studies, where he was a member 9/2019 – 9/2020.

Ted Erho delivers a lecture at Warsaw University at the conference 75 Years of Ethiopian Studies in Warsaw. He will present on Ethiopic fragments of Tatian's Diatesseron. 

The volume Jonah in the Ethiopic Biblical Tradition by Jeremy Brown was recently published in the new series Ethiopic Bible and Related Literature at Mohr Siebeck. The book is available open access thanks to the support of BeInf: see here.
