Databases
In the course of the project several interconnected relational databases have emerged:
- Manuscript cataloguing database (check here for the list of bibliographic abbreviations used)
- Database for art objects
- Database for archives
- Database for bibliography (integrated with the COMSt database; search for Ethiopic tradition)
These databases should be extendible to become useable for other projects, dealing not necessarily with Ethiopian culture (as already happened for the Bibliography which has been merged with that of the
The databases are developed and maintained at Hamburg University on the basis of MyCoRe open source software.
