Online Lecture - The Yaoi Boom in Thailand

The Hamburg Society for Thai Studies and the Department for Languages and Cultures of Southeast Asia invite you to an online lecture on Friday, July 9th, 2021, at 14.00.

The lecture will center upon the genre of Yaoi or Boy's Love (BL) and its recent boom in Thai popular media, framed by popular romance studies and convergence culture.

We are delighted to welcome Dr. Natthanai Prasannam from Kasetsart University in Bangkok as our speaker for this lecture.
