Hier ein weiterer Einblick in ein neues Seminar im Sommersemester 2023.

This drawing by Ignasius Dicky Takndare shows an indigenous woman in West Papua who wants to protect her child and the forests that are her livelihood. The Indonesian state and big agro-corporations are grabbing the land and forests, usually without taking into account the ancestral land rights of the people living there, without informing them in advance, and without asking for their consent. For the women who work the land but are generally excluded from negotiations on the use or sale of land, this threatens their existence - it is like a stab in the back. Dicky Takndare uses this image to denounce land grabbing and at the same time to honour the women of West Papua and their resistance against it.
