Topic: Thai Culture between Tradition and Modernity

Eligible persons:

The students of B.A. or M.A. levels who are studying disciplines related to Thai Studies at universities in Germany.

Competition rules:

Entries must be written in German or English between 1000-1500 words without footnotes and list of references.

Assessment criteria:

The presentation has a clear purpose and structure.
The content is complete and consistent with the topic.
The content sequence is interesting and easy to understand.
The information provided is clear and reliable with footnotes and list of references.

Reward:

1^st prize 300 Euro
2^nd prize 250 Euro
3^rd prize 150 Euro

Announcement of results and awarding:

The announcement of the results and the award ceremony will take place on the Thai-Tag (Saturday, June 3, 2023). The three finalists will be informed about the results two weeks before the Thai-Tag. The 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd prize winner must be able to collect their prize in person. Their travel expenses will be paid (Deutsche Bahn, 2. Klasse).
