Regional specializations

In the bachelor's and master's courses, one of three regional specializations have to be selected. Those are:

  • Austronesian Studies and the Indonesian language
  • Thai Studies and the Thai language
  • Vietnamese Studies and the Vietnamese language

The choice of the respective focus determines the first language from the 1st semester onwards. In the 3rd semester, an additional language is selected.
