Studying Filipino (Tagalog)
The Austronesian studies section proposes a program centred on the Philippines which is composed of language courses, seminars, cultural events, and is partially funded through a grant from the Philippine Embassy in Germany and the Philippine Government to advance Philippine studies in Germany.
Filipino can be taken as second language for students majoring in Austronesian studies, and all the program components are also open to undergraduates, graduates, and as elective for students at UHH.
