Selected publications
According to its statutes, the Hamburger Gesellschaft für Thaiistik (HGT, Hamburg Society for Thai Studies) is committed to making the results of Thai Studies research accessible to the wider public. At the last general meeting, it was announced that a publication series titled "Hamburger Thaiistik-Studien" (Thai Studies Hamburg) would be established.
In the spring of 2018, an Advisory Board was formed, consisting of seven international scholars in the fields of Thai language, literature and history. This board is tasked with ensuring the quality of the monographs and edited volumes included in the new series. Until mid-2025, seven monographs and one edited volume have been published in the series "Hamburger Thaiistik-Studien".
