Since 2011, the Thai Studies section of the Department of Languages and Cultures of Southeast Asia has been regularly hosting Thai Days, supported by the Royal Thai Embassy in Berlin and the Royal Thai Honorary Consulate in Hamburg. In addition, we also organize film screenings and academic lectures on the literature, history, culture, and society of Thailand as well as its neighbouring countries (both in-person and online). Southeast Asia Days are organized in collaboration with Austronesian Studies and Vietnamese Studies.
