The Emmy Noether Research Group, Social Contexts of Rebellion in the Early Islamic Period (SCORE), presents the second online lecture series "Rethinking Social Contention: Rebellion, Banditry and Martyrdom in the Pre-Modern Islamicate World" from October 2022 to February 2023.
Our speakers are Matthew Gordon (Miami University), Noëmie Lucas (University of Edinburgh), Damián Fernández (Northern Illinois University / American Academy in Berlin), May Shaddel (Universiteit Leiden), and Lisa Pilar Eberle (Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen).
