"Indonesian III" language course
Indonesian III (Bahasa Indonesia III)

The "Indonesian III (Bahasa Indonesia III)" language course consists of course III A (in the winter semester) and III B (in the summer semester). The prerequisite for participating in this course is the successful completion of the "Indonesian II" language course or proof of appropriate language skills.
This course meets once a week for 2x45 minutes. It is highly recommended that the students meet regularly with a native speaker of the Indonesian language and communicate actively with him/her both verbally and in writing.
The "Indonesian Language course III" uses various longer texts or newspaper articles as well as videos and films on both current and historical topics in Indonesia. The students will be reading these texts and watching movies, to understand, discuss, interpret, criticize, summarize, and translate them.
At the end of the course, the students will be able to understand, discuss or write longer logically structured texts on complex subjects (in an academic and professional field), and express him/herself appropriately depending on the type of situation and the audience addressed.
